Pascale Leenders

Pascale Leenders (Dutch, b. 1967) sees photography as a way to engage both with the world and with herself. Her fascination with the medium began at an early age, when her father gave her her first camera. From then on, she immersed herself in capturing fleeting moments and subtle details, always with a focus on light and atmosphere. After graduating from the Fotoacademie in Amsterdam, she continues to explore the possibilities of photography, creating a space where her inner world and reality meet.

Inspired by nature, her immediate surroundings, and abstract painters, Leenders works intuitively, transforming memories and emotions into layered, poetic abstract images.

Leenders has exhibited in the Netherlands and abroad.
